In this article, I will go through all the options that those who previously received an autumn result in 4- or 12-part color analyses can expect in 16-part color analysis, and I will tell you how you can try to evaluate your own 16-part result yourself. I'll also share some tips on makeup and clothing for fall (as well as warm spring and mild summer). Next, I will go through the autumn color seasons of the 12- and 4-season color analyses and explain what the results can be in the 16-season color analysis. I will start with the 12-seasons color analysis autumn color seasons. 12-part warm autumn in 16-part color analysis If you have obtained a warm autumn color season result in the 12-part color analysis, the 16-part color analysis result may be one of the following: Warm autumn Warm spring True autumn The result of a 16-part color analysis is most accurate when performed by a competent color consultant on color analysis fabrics and viewed in natural light. A warm autumn in 12 seasons remains a warm autumn in a 16 seasons color analysis If you have obtained the result warm autumn in the 12-part color analysis, then in the 16-part it may well remain the same, i.e. warm autumn. If the lightest and brightest (spring colors) in the 12-part color analysis color palette have not felt the best and have not really been used, it may very well be possible that the result will remain nominally the same, i.e. warm autumn. If the brightest and lightest colors in the 12-part warm autumn color palette have seemed better than the more autumnal tones, then the result may well be a warm spring in the 16-part. The warm spring of the 16-part color analysis is more deep and even warmer than the 12-part and takes a small step closer to autumn compared to the warm spring of the 12-part. A 12-part warm autumn is a real autumn in a 16-part color analysis This is a very common change, meaning that it is often seen that a 12-part warm autumn is a true autumn in a 16-part color analysis. This is because a true autumn is the perfect color season for a customer who has actually been somewhere between the 12-part autumns. A true color season, and in this case, a true autumn, is uniform in its three color characteristics. A true autumn is uniformly warm, soft, and deep, meaning that none of these three characteristics dominates over the others. The prefix of a color season subcategory always determines what is the dominant characteristic of that color season. Nanso's *jacket is good for all autumns, as is North Outdoor's *t-shirt. If you have achieved a warm autumn result in the 12-part palette and have been looking for more depth and softness in the colors of the palette, you are probably a true autumn in the 16-part color analysis. With the 12-part palettes, compromises have had to be made, but with the 16-part Hehkumpi color palettes, this "problem" has been eliminated. The true autumn color palette is uniformly warm, soft, and deep in terms of color properties in a 16-part color analysis. 12-part soft autumn in 16-part color analysis If you have received a result of soft autumn in a 12-part, 16-part color analysis, the result may be one of the following: Soft autumn Soft summer True autumn Next, I will explain why a 12-part soft autumn can even change in temperature to the opposite in a 16-part color analysis. 12-part soft autumn options in a 16-part color analysis. The color palette is just about perfect for 16-part soft autumns! The soft autumn of the 12 seasons turns into a cool, i.e. soft summer in the 16 seasons In some cases, a 12-part soft autumn may be a cool color season, i.e. soft summer, in a 16-part color analysis. This is not very likely, but it is still possible. If the client's skin tone has been very close to neutral (but in reality still on the cool side) and the tolerance for darkness has been relatively high, then the 12-part result may have been determined as soft autumn and the soft autumn color palette may have been included. In such an exceptional case, it has been a more harmonious option. The teal *t-shirt is also suitable for a soft summer and Maybelline's red *shade 55 is perfect for a soft summer. Soft Summer in 16 season color analysis is a much darker color season than Soft Summer in 12 seasons, and in a way, you could say that it is also on its way towards winter due to the darker tones (and towards autumn through the more neutral temperature and softness). If you have got the result Soft Autumn, but you have been looking for more coolness from the colors in the color palette and the warmer tones have not been used, it may well be possible that the result is Soft Summer in the 16-part color analysis. Soft Summer is clearly darker in the 16-part color analysis than in the 12-part color analysis. You can buy your own color palette here. The soft autumn of the 12 season color analysis is the true autumn of the 16 season color analysis A 12-part soft autumn can be a 16-part true autumn if the client is actually somewhere in between the 12-part autumn subcategories in terms of the result. If you have achieved a soft autumn result in the 12-part, but have been looking for more warmth and depth in the colors of the color palette, you are very likely a true autumn in the 16-part color analysis. The 16-part True Autumn Color Chart from Hehkumpi Color Analysis is a great example of autumn colors. 12-part dark autumn in 16-part color analysis If you have received a dark autumn result in the 12-part color analysis, the result in the 16-part color analysis may be one of the following: Dark autumn True autumn Warm autumn 12-part dark autumn options in 16-part color analysis. A deep autumn in 12-seasons color analysis remains a deep autumn in 16 seasons If you have received a dark autumn result in a 12-part color analysis, but the colors in the color palette have seemed too warm, the result is probably also deep autumn in a 16-part color analysis. The 16-degree dark autumn takes a step towards winter and its colors are slightly more neutral in temperature than the 12-degree dark autumn. The deep autumn color palette of the 16-part color analysis is more on the way to winter than the 12-part color palette. The dark autumn of the 12-part system is the true autumn of the 16-part system If the result has been a 12-part dark autumn and the colors in the color palette have felt good, then the result is probably a 16-part true autumn. The 16-part true autumn corresponds quite a lot in terms of color properties to the dark autumn of the 12-part This is a really common change, meaning that many 12-part dark autumns are indeed 16-parttrue autumns. Many 12-part dark autumns are 16-part true autumns. A 12-part dark autumn is a 16-part warm autumn If you have received a dark autumn result in the 12-part palette, but you are in a warm autumn in the 16-part palette, this is entirely due to the limitations of the 12-part palette. In the 12-part palette, warm autumn is completely between autumn and spring, when the colors are very light and bright. For some warm autumns in the 16-part palette, these have been too much in the 12-part palette, and a better and calmer color palette has been found overall in the dark autumn. When we move from the 12-part palette to the 16-part Hehkumpi palette, warm autumn has taken a step closer to real autumn. In this case, the colors are no longer so strikingly bright and light, but more like fresh summer dress colors for autumn. Warm autumn is more autumnal in a 16-part color analysis than in a 12-part one. Autumn of 4-part color analysis in 16-part color analysis If you have received the result autumn in the 4-part color analysis, then the result in the 16-part color analysis will most likely be one of the following: True autumn Warm autumn Dark autumn Soft autumn Warm spring Soft summer Dark winter This relatively wide range of different results is due to the fact that the 4-part color analysis method does not properly take into account the brightness-softness metric of color characteristics. When going from a 4-part autumn to a 16-part color analysis, the result can really surprise you. If the 4-part color scheme correctly identifies warmth and darkness, then the result is something like the 16-part color scheme autumn. If warmth is identified, but brightness is not, then the result is probably warm spring. So if you were analyzed as autumn in the 4-part color scheme, but the colors seemed too intense, the result in the 16-part color scheme is probably a warm spring, closer to spring. If the colors in the 4-part color scheme seemed too warm, then the common softness of autumn and summer has probably been blurred and you are a soft summer. If darkness is identified, but you have been looking for more neutrality in the colors, the result of the 16-part color scheme may be a dark winter. Deep winter is a cooler and more harmonious entity in a 16-part color analysis than in a 12-part color analysis. Why can the result of color analysis change quite radically when going from 4-part to 16-part color analysis? When the result of a color analysis changes, for example, from a 4-part autumn and warm color season to a cool, soft summer, it can feel a little strange. How can warm become cool? The 4-part autumn is dark, soft and warm in terms of color characteristics. The reason for this is the harmony between the customer's characteristics and the color fans in use. When the soft summer of 16 parts has been given the result of autumn in 4 parts, the reason is visible in the following images. The 4-part summer is light, cool and soft. Which of the 4-part color palettes, i.e. (dark) autumn or (light) summer, is more harmonious overall for the 16-part soft summer? The answer is autumn, but when the customer is assessed in a 16-part color analysis, the best colors are found in the soft summer. The 16-piece Soft Summer is dark, soft and neutral-cool. This was one of the first 16-piece Hehkumpi color fans, along with the fall color fans, because it was one of the biggest needs. The soft summer of the 16-part color analysis is closer to the 4-part autumn than to the summer in terms of the three color property metrics. Therefore, the 4-part autumn can turn into summer in the 16-part color analysis. Even 16-part color analysis is not a direct answer to all questions If we think about categorizing people into specific categories, then it is impossible to put all the people in the world into four or even sixteen categories. However, 16-part color analysis is in practice the most accurate and practical color analysis method that has been developed. A diagram of how some of the 16-part color seasons relate to each other. Each one is tilted in a certain direction. However, it is important to remember that when assessing the properties of colors, sometimes even a 16-part color analysis is not enough. Sometimes, for example, the temperature of the client's skin undertone may be completely neutral and it is practically impossible to put it even slightly on the cool or warm side. In such situations, it is also good to be aware of the principles of the so-called 23-part color analysis and by utilizing them and the experience and professionalism of the color consultant, the best color palette is always found for the client and its use is tailored and guided individually according to the client's characteristics. In my color analysis, I examine the client's hair and eyes in addition to their skin. However, the skin is by far the most important element. The effects of the color analysis on the face are more visible in some people than in others. Every person is different, and the test drapes elicit visibly different reactions on the face depending on the client's characteristics. I interpret the effect of the drapes on the client using a set of internal mental benchmarks. The effects of color analysis as metrics I am now going to describe, in great detail, a color analysis I performed for a client. I aim to explain how the effects of different fabrics manifest on the skin and how this helps me arrive at a precise result within the 12-season system. I rely on the indicators found in color palettes as well as my own internal benchmarks. Can you guess the client's result before I reveal it? The customer sat on the chair in front of the mirror. I began by covering the client’s clothes with a white cloth and placing a white cape over their hair. This allowed us to see the face clearly, free from any color reflections from the hair or clothing. I wanted to determine exactly what the client’s face could handle and what it required in terms of the properties of the temperature-based drapes, without considering overall harmony at that stage. I would take that overall harmony into account only later. The client sat in front of the mirror under natural-light lamps (three lamps: one overhead and two positioned at the front sides), while I stood behind them, viewing their face in the mirror. Undertone of the skin The first step was to determine the skin's undertone—whether it was warm or cool. This is very rarely discernible just by looking at the surface. Furthermore, one must remember that, in addition to the undertone, we have a surface tone that can be misleading—not to mention a tan, freckles, redness, acne, or numerous other factors that shape our surface coloring. Initially, I focused on identifying the undertone. Warm, cool and neutral I started by comparing three fabrics with cool, neutral, and warm characteristics. Both the client and I realized right away, upon seeing the first—the cool—fabric, that "This is a good one." The neutral fabric followed, and we found ourselves thinking, "This one is good, too." A temperature scale inside my head (it can also be vertical) At this point, I was convinced that the third fabric would be the worst option for my client. By "worst," I mean a fabric that negatively affects the complexion—for instance, by accentuating redness or orange tones, or by making the skin look pale or bluish. I placed the warmest fabric in front of my client and immediately thought, "Yes." I could see that the client noticed the same thing I did. However, I voiced this observation as I conducted the color analysis: "I can see that you noticed it too. Your face is taking on an orange glow, almost like a fake tan." In that moment, it was perfectly clear to me that she had cool undertones. Her face reacted so strongly to the warm tone that a comparison with other colors wasn't even strictly necessary. Nevertheless, I compared it with the other fabrics so that both the client and I could learn everything about her skin—its characteristics and its needs. Customer was totally cool I compared the warm-toned fabric with a neutral one. We could clearly see how the face seemed to shed a yellowish-orange cast when the neutral fabric was placed in front of it; a healthy color returned to the face. At this stage, I wasn't focusing on the eyes or other specific features, but her face reacted so strongly to the warm tone that I pointed it out to her. The warmth completely washed out the facial definition, causing the jawline and shadows to disappear. When I compared it again with the neutral fabric, her features immediately regained a wonderfully defined, structured look. When I compared the warm fabric with a cool one, the cool tone began to make her face look pale. This was because of the drastic drop in temperature between the two fabrics. Surface tone of the skin At this stage, I also had to take the skin's surface tone into account. It influences which color suits us best. Here, I was focusing specifically on the color itself rather than its properties (such as whether it is a cool or warm tone). I also had to consider the brightness and softness of the cool-toned fabric. The cool test fabric in question was distinctly cool and also more intense in terms of brightness than the neutral fabric. At this point, I decided that the neutral fabric was the best option, with the cool fabric coming in second. In terms of the skin's reaction, the neutral fabric was the better color choice, whereas the cool fabric was superior regarding temperature. Although I usually focus only on changes in skin tone at this stage, in her case, her eyes lit up so noticeably with the cool fabric that I couldn't overlook it. Not everyone shows such a strong reaction. Hair, eyes and values I moved on to examine the client's other features. Her hair was visibly cool-toned. Her eyes were also distinctly cool. Most often, hair shares the same temperature as the skin's undertone, though eyes can sometimes be cool on a warm skin type, and vice versa. I want to emphasize that there are always exceptions, and I would not draw conclusions about a color season without a fabric test. When assessing the depth of the client's coloring, I noticed that she was clearly light—falling in the light range on the light-medium-dark scale. What had I discovered At this point, I knew the following facts for certain: Depth = light Skin = cool Hair = cool Eyes = cool Gold vs. silver I also tested the gold versus silver fabrics as large drapes. The face reacted exactly as I had anticipated. There are many wonderful aspects of color analysis that I love, and this logical consistency is one of them. When I conduct an analysis and examine a client's features, there comes a point where I know precisely how each fabric will affect their appearance. This is further supported by the fact that I really only need a subset of the 31 standard test fabrics to arrive at a reliable result. I don't need to try out countless different colored fabrics to pick the best one; knowing the properties of the colors I use is sufficient. Gold is a warm tone; it gave the skin a yellowish cast—almost a dull or muddy look—mirroring the effect of the warm test fabric. The gold fabric also seemed to diminish facial definition due to its intense warmth. And what about silver? Wow! Wow! And wow again! The face took on a truly fresh glow. The eyes came alive thanks to the cool tones, and the lightness of that particular silver fabric worked beautifully! We had direction All this information gave me a strong indication of the direction to explore further. At this stage, it was clear that the client’s face reacted very strongly to different fabrics—or, more precisely, to their temperature. I also wanted to know how the skin reacted to brightness and softness. I was interested in how the skin responded to lightness and darkness—specifically, how much color depth the skin could handle and how to create harmony using light and dark values, which can be observed with the naked eye or, more easily, in a black-and-white photograph. Temperature fabrics darkness levels Summer or winter? I began by comparing summer fabrics with winter fabrics. I also systematically tested spring and autumn fabrics to gather more data on her coloring characteristics. The comparisons consistently revealed the same result. Whenever the fabric was distinctly cool-toned, her face took on a fresh, radiant glow. When compared against warm colors (such as brown or peach), her face would flush red. Similarly, if the color was warm and yellow-orange—like copper, orange, or gold—her face seemed to absorb the color, resulting in redness. If the fabric was bright—and brightness was the dominant characteristic of that color (typical of Winter or Spring palettes)—her face would flush. Her skin could not handle the intensity; the brightness seemed to clash with her complexion. Based on this, I concluded that she belongs to a soft color season. Determining the chroma Softness-brightness scale Among the Autumn fabrics, a color that was neutral in temperature, as light as possible, and very soft in intensity actually suited her quite well. Why? Because the softness worked. The overall look didn't quite come together, but this test helped determine the limits of what worked. What happened when I compared a light Winter fabric—neutral and very cool—with a Summer fabric that was medium-dark, neutral in temperature, and very soft? Of the two, the Winter fabric won, because her most dominant characteristics were coolness and lightness. Did this make her a Winter? No, it didn't. This specific comparison simply showed that the particular Winter fabric was the better choice. The Winter fabric with those specific qualities was the only one that worked; otherwise, the brightness typical of the Winter palette was always too intense, causing her skin to flush. The same thing happened with the brightest Spring colors. The depth associated with Winter and Autumn fabrics (referring not so much to black-and-white lightness/darkness, but to the color's depth and intensity) cast a heavy, dark shadow over the client's face. In contrast, the light colors of the Summer and Spring palettes made her face look fresh. The coolness of the Winter fabrics worked beautifully. Based on all of this, I concluded that she was a Summer. Color season summer The three sub-categories of Summer are: Light Summer: a pure color season that is distinctly cool and light. Its softness level is around 25/100 on a scale where 0 is the softest and 100 is the brightest. Soft Summer: maximally soft. It leans toward Soft Autumn and shares some of the same colors, which are neutral in temperature. Its coolness is close to neutral—ranking 25/100 on this four-point scale—and its lightness/darkness is neutral. Cool Summer: its colors lean toward Cool Winter. It is maximally cool, while its brightness and darkness levels fall somewhere in the middle. The color palettes I use for 12-season color analysis define the direction in which the colors of different seasons lean, if applicable. However, through conducting color analyses, I have learned that—in the case of Summer, for example—one Soft Summer client might lean closer to Light Summer, while another might lean more toward Cool Summer. Based on this information, can you determine which sub-category applies to her? The result In her case, the result was so clear that it was immediately obvious she was a Light Summer. There was no need to specifically hunt for a sub-category by comparing Light Summer against Soft or Cool Summer; I had already mentally constructed a comparative chart based on the effects of the various fabrics. I knew she was purely cool and light—those characteristics won out in every comparison. Regarding softness, it was clear that while she didn't require *maximum* softness, she still needed a soft quality. This is also one reason why I don't use the basic four-season color analysis system; the sub-category usually reveals itself naturally once I’ve processed all the information gathered from the client's features. When I showed the client a few colors that suited her well, we could see how a light pink from her palette outperformed a neutral red, simply because of its coolness. While both colors actually looked good on her, we observed that the neutral red brought out a slight flush in her face and diminished her natural radiance. Her eyes also lost some of their sparkle when that maximum coolness was removed. I want to emphasize that this analysis involved fine-tuning to the extreme; the result shouldn't be viewed in an overly rigid or restrictive way. In her case, I recommended using the full range of Light Summer colors, though she could borrow from the Soft Summer palette when seeking a look that is harmonious and gentle. The Cool Summer palette, meanwhile, could offer options for "party" outfits. I recommended avoiding shades that were too dark, bright, or very warm near the face. Some of the most stunning colors for her included pinkish red, jade green, deep sky blue, light lemon, and mint. These colors were absolutely magnificent on her—they made her truly stand out. Her eyes sparkled, her skin glowed beautifully, and the overall harmony was perfect—simply enchanting. Best color for her Customer and temperature segments on a coarse numerical scale If I were to plot the client's characteristics and the initial temperature-based fabric samples (along with their characteristics) on a scale of 0–100, the resulting formula would look like this: Client values: Cool–warm scale: 0 Light–dark scale: 0 Soft–bright scale: 25 And the averages: Client = 0 + 0 + 25 = 25 / 3 = 8.3 Cool fabric = 50 + 0 + 75 = 100 / 3 = 41.6 Neutral = 75 + 50 + 50 = 175 / 3 = 58.33 Warm = 50 + 100 + 25 = 175 / 3 = 58.33 My numerical assessment of the client's and the fabrics' characteristics. I developed this chart myself to assist in interpreting my color analysis results. The figures are not exact; for the sake of clarity, I have chosen to use only the scale 0–25–50–75–100 for the time being. I have recently had a steady stream of "Summer" clients, with a particularly high proportion belonging to the "Light Summer" sub-season. Not every Light Summer client yields the same result using my formula; since every person is unique, the figures vary even among individuals within the same sub-category. The chart above also illustrates why the warmest fabric is clearly the worst choice, even though the numerical values ​​are relatively close to one another on average. The reason is that the greatest discrepancy existed between the temperature of that warm fabric and the client's Light Summer color profile. Maximum temperature difference between the customer and the fabric Went back to the start of the analysis Towards the end, I changed the ranking of the initial fabrics. I had initially judged the neutral one to be better, but as the color analysis progressed and I obtained the final result, I switched to the cool-toned fabric as the best option. It can be difficult to draw definitive conclusions at the start; that is why my color analysis is so comprehensive, allowing me to consider the client's characteristics from many different angles. The color of the cool-toned fabric posed a bit of a problem due to its brightness. In the chart, I assigned it a brightness value of 75, but in reality, it is even brighter. The same applied to the client's softness level, though in reverse (I assigned it a value of 25, but the client was actually softer). However, by the end—once I was better able to interpret what I was seeing, account for the brightness, and adjust for the depth of the cool-toned fabric—it revealed itself to be the perfect color for a Light Summer palette. Everyone is different No two "Light Summer" colorings are exactly alike; everyone has slightly different, unique colors and shades, even within the same sub-category. The effects of color analysis show differently on each person's face, and specific measurements and chart readings vary from one individual to another. On a general chart, we both score a 75 for warmth; however, if I determine the readings more precisely, my skin undertone is closer to neutral (perhaps 70), whereas my husband’s is slightly warmer (around 80). This slight nuance explains why, when wearing the warmest colors (such as orange), my complexion begins to look a bit yellowish, while my husband glows with a magnificent warmth. In other words, it is fair to say that color analysis has largely been a women-only affair. Hopefully, this is set to change in the future! I've been analyzed in Hehkumpi color analysis! Is color analysis just for women? Although the majority of color analysis clients are women, color analysis is certainly not just for women! Naturally, I have received a color analysis result myself, since I live under the same roof as a color consultant. In addition, I am exposed to the world of color analysis far more than the average person on a daily basis; consequently, I have gained a thorough understanding of the principles behind color analysis and what can be achieved with it. My color season is Bright Spring, and I have found many new favorite colors to replace black after my color analysis. Color analysis from man's point of view From my perspective (as a man), color analysis has three dimensions: How color analysis makes life and choices easier How you look on the outside How you feel on the inside In my opinion, the last one is the most important of all. These latter two dimensions go hand in hand, and it is difficult—or even pointless—to separate them. When you feel good, it radiates outward, and when you look good, it certainly feels good on the inside, too! There really isn't anything black left in my wardrobe other than a couple of shirts I received as gifts and my football gear. Color analysis makes you feel good In my opinion, a third dimension has received less attention: the fact that undergoing a color analysis fosters a sense of well-being, joy, and overall wellness. I am speaking from my own perspective here, but receiving the results of a color analysis has had a very positive impact on my life in many ways. I understand myself better now that I know the characteristics of my features and which colors suit me. This feels good, because the analysis was performed by a reliable professional, and I have complete faith in the results. The right colors feel and look good! Nowadays, when I pick an item of clothing from my wardrobe to wear, I think about how it suits me and how good I feel in it. I have also found a new joy in dressing—something that wasn't there before. I used to wear practically nothing but black because I wanted to blend into the background, and I never really thought about my clothing in a positive light. These days, I feel happy when I look at my wardrobe or at myself in the mirror. Wearing colors that suit me sparks positive thoughts about myself and, quite simply, brings me joy. Color analysis makes life easier When I mentioned that I see color analysis as having three dimensions, the fact that it simplifies life and decision-making is actually the sum of the other two dimensions. Knowing your colors makes shopping for clothes easier; your wardrobe contains only nice, coordinating pieces, and you feel good wearing them. Life is much easier when you know and accept yourself just as you are. Colors and clothes should bring joy and lift your spirits—even in the rain! Color analysis is for men too Everyone has the right to feel good about themselves—men and women alike. Colors affect all genders equally. In fact, one could even argue (perhaps a bit provocatively) that men might benefit from color analysis even more than women! Since men—stereotypically speaking—don't wear as much makeup as women, dressing in their most flattering shades is arguably even more important for them. So, color analysis is definitely for men, too! Fabric in the right color near the face (in this case, a bright, neutral-to-warm red) refreshes your look. Why men don't go to color analysis Why don’t men get color analysis? There are certainly many reasons for this—and I am speaking only for myself here, though I assume there may be others like me. Perhaps the main reason is that color analysis is perceived as a "women's thing" (or "female nonsense"). In other words, it is viewed as a traditional beauty service for women—or, even more bluntly, dismissed as complete hogwash. Color analysis work, also for men! Men may perceive color analysis as something primarily for women, largely because it is often associated with makeup; if you don’t wear makeup, you might not consider color analysis useful. Another significant reason is that color analysis is not effectively marketed to men. The focus is placed on women as the ideal clients, while men are mentioned only in passing—if at all. A third reason is likely that 99% of color consultants are women. To my knowledge, there is currently only one male color consultant in Finland, but that is set to change in May! Is this the first color consultant couple in the world? I'll become a color consultant Color analysis is certainly not just for women, and I aim to highlight this perspective in every way I can. As my paternity leave comes to an end, I am following in the footsteps of my partner, Maria (Hehkumpi), by leaving salaried employment to become an entrepreneur and color consultant offering color analysis services. For example, five people who all receive a "Warm Spring" result can look very different from one another. The categorization in this blog post is quite loose; I wanted to stretch the boundaries of the standard color analysis perspective and offer as many options as possible for each season, because I want as many people as possible to find a color (or several!) that they truly love. The color you are looking for doesn't have to be exactly from the ColorAid color chart. This fabric is best for summer. The importance of lighting in color perception It is recommended to use the ColorAid color chart in the best possible light. Reliable color analysis is always done in good light (as close to natural white daylight as possible). Of course, the ColorAid color chart is useful even in different lighting conditions. However, although the light is often practically the same for the canvas being examined and the ColorAid, due to the material of the object being examined and the ColorAid and the reflections of the light, the colors can still be reproduced differently in different lighting. When using the ColorAid color chart and investigating which color family a color belongs to, it is also a good idea to test the color chart at different distances and angles in relation to the color being studied. Depending on the characteristics of the color chart (transparency and printing issues) and the lighting, the colors may reproduce slightly differently. Always keep a ColorAid color chart with you. For example, when you are a passenger in a car, look at colors in good light, or when you are waiting at the dentist's office, study pictures in magazines with ColorAid. With practice, your color vision will become more accurate! Use ColorAid at different distances from the color being studied. How do you distinguish between different color families and their characteristics When identifying colors, it is important to understand that colors have three different properties that together determine the color family and subcategory. These properties are: temperature (cool/neutral/warm) brightness/softness darkness/lightness I personally think about these properties and their relationships mathematically using metric thinking . The Hehkumpi color analysis ColorAid color chart aims to illustrate these properties and the relationships between different colors. Color temperature and how to distinguish warm and cool colors For example, spring and autumn are both inherently warm color seasons. However, not every color in them is 100% warm, like orange, for example. In this example, it is easy to tell that the color is warm, meaning it fits better with the color families on the left (spring and autumn). When you look at the color more deeply, you notice that it goes really well with the colors of autumn. The color is a gorgeous ochre, where the representative of the autumn color season glows wonderfully. However, warm colors are at least 50% warm on the temperature scale (a 50% warm color is therefore neutral in temperature and these are suitable for practically all color seasons, but in this example especially for soft autumn, bright spring and light spring). Winter and summer, on the other hand, are cool color seasons or neutral-cool and their warmth is 50% or below on the heat scale. Color softness/brightness For example, winter and spring are bright color seasons and the brightness of the colors in their color families is at least 50%. Soft colors have a softness/brightness scale of 0-50% and are therefore especially suitable for autumn and summer color families. Lightness/darkness of color The third color property is the darkness/lightness of the color. Dark color seasons are winter and autumn. For example, dark winter is 100% dark, 50% cool, and 50% bright in terms of color properties, meaning the most important property of colors is darkness. Dark winter can move a little in terms of the other two color properties. Light color families are spring and summer. Their lightness is 0-50%. This color is a warm green, so it belongs to the spring or autumn color family. How to interpret the color season using the ColorAid color chart If the color you are researching falls between two color families on the ColorAid color chart, e.g. spring and winter, think about what the common characteristic of those color families is. For spring and winter, it is brightness and the color probably belongs to bright spring and bright winter. This way you will also find out the subcategory of the color season. If the color properties are very neutral, then the color being studied is very likely to be suitable for several seasons. For example, if the color is very neutral in brightness and darkness and the temperature is clearly on the warm side, then the color is likely to be particularly suitable for (warm) spring and warm autumn. You can also evaluate a color using the exclusion technique. Ask yourself if the color is: dark or light bright or soft warm or cool Depending on which characteristic you identify, you can rule out others. Most of my clients come for color analysis alone. In that case, the experience is always very personal and sometimes you could even say therapeutic. You can also come to my color analysis alone, for example with your spouse or relative, or in a group of three/four people, for example among friends. Color analysis with a friend When you come to a color analysis with a friend, for example, the experience can be very different than in a personal color analysis. There you get to interact with both me and your friend and see the effects of the fabrics on both of their faces. You might think that whoever gets to the bench first would have to be more patient. I personally feel that the first person to sit on the bench has to be more moderate, because when they get their own color palette in their hands, we already start analyzing their friend. Up until now, everyone has nicely put their own colors aside; colors they have been waiting for a long time, maybe even decades! They focus on their friend's color analysis, emptying their minds of their own colors for a moment. This is very moving as a color consultant and bystander. The way my clients treat their friends is so beautiful and respectful. In that moment I am a professional color consultant, but in the evening when I think about the color analysis or write them an email, I cannot help but cry. The kindness of people towards each other is what most often moves me the most. Sometimes it happens that your own result is a disappointment or a shock. In these situations, the support of a friend is incredible. Maybe you already knew, or now at least you understand, that my color analysis is not just the season of the year as a result, but it is a comprehensive experience and thrill. Sometimes a very personal burden or joy that has been on the way for years. My clients get answers and explanations. Minulla kävi vähän aikaa sitten värianalyysissä aivan ihanat ystävykset. Alunperin oli tarkoitus, että heitä olisi ollut kolmen kopla ja että, he olisivat tulleet kotiini tai vaihtoehtoisesti olisin mennyt heidän luokseen tekemään värianalyysit. Vaalea kesä on myös puhdas värivuodenaika, jolla ei ole vaikutteita muista värivuodenajoista. Vaalean kesän alakategoria on myös nimikkokesä 4-jakoisessa värianalyysissä. Miten tätä tietoa voisi hyödyntää parhaiten esimerkiksi juhlapukeutumisessa Juhlamekon värinä tumma oliivin vihreä toisi kasvoille upeaa lämpöä ja pehmeyttä, tehostaen samalla hänen upeita vihreitä silmiään. Tähän kun lisäisi silmien vastavärinä olevan punaisen mahogany-sävyssä olevan huulipunan ja Ruskean laukun ja kengät tuomaan kontrastien tasapainoa asuun ja tehostamaan upeita ruskeita hiuksia, niin kokonaisuus olisi todella hehkuva ja harmoninen. Oranssit korvakorut voisivat vielä tuoda lisää särmää asuun. Kokonaisuus olisi todella hehkuva ja harmoninen, kerrassaan lumoava. Minun on vielä sanottava, että 12-jaollisen värianalyysin väripalettien värit ovat jo niin pitkälle hiottu sopivaksi, että jos omat parhaat värit ei miellytä, niin todella loistavasti toimivat myös muut värit omasta värimaailmasta. Mustavalkoisenakin näkee harmonian tummuuksien avulla Värivuodenaika -taulukko havainnollistaen tyypillisiä ominaisuuksia ja suhteita toisiinsa Eri värivuodenajat Taulukosta näemme miten vastakkaiset värivuodenajat heillä onkaan. Oikealla yläkulmassa näemme vaalean kesän, jossa viileys ja vaaleus on ääripäässä. Vasemmalla alhaalla näemme tumman syksyn, joka taas on ääripää tummuudessa sekä lämmössä. Tumma syksy ja vaalea kesä ovat puhtaita värivuodenaikoja, joilla ei ole vaikutteita muista värivuodenajoista. Taulukon muista kulmista löytyy lämmin kevät sekä viileä talvi, jotka ovat myös puhtaita värivuodenaikoja. Nämä ovat 4-jakoisen värianalyysin värivuodenajat. Muut taulukossa olevat värivuodenajat ovat alakategorioita, joilla on pientä vaikutusta muista värivuodenajoista. Otan esimerkiksi vaalean kevään ylhäältä keskeltä. Ihon pohjasävy on lähempänä neutraalia, mutta lämpimän puolella vielä. Värit ovat vaaleampia ja neutraalimpia lämmöltään kuin lämpimällä keväällä. Kirkkautta on myös himmennetty. Vaalea kevät jakaa osan samoista väreistä vaalean kesän kanssa, joka on jo puhtaasti viileä. Vaalea kesä tumman syksyn väreissä Vaihdettiin lopuksi ystävysten harlekiinit toisilleen ihan vain huvin vuoksi. Harmonia rikkoutuu syksyn väreissä Värit ovat liian raskaita ja dominoivia. Kasvoille nousee punaisuutta, kun viileä iho ei pysty ottaa vastaan niin voimasta lämpöä. Värit eivät myöskään tuo mallia esiin, vaan huomiosta joutuu taistelemaan. Kuulin ensimmäistä kertaa värianalyysistä noin vuosi sitten, kun anoppini puhui jostain paidastaan ja sen väristä. Hän kertoi, että oli käynyt aikoja sitten värianalyysissä ja että tämän värin (ehkä violetti🤔) olisi kerrottu olevan hänelle hyvä. Tämä laukaisi ketjureaktion, jonka johdosta päädyin itse menemään värianalyysiin ja lopulta tekemään itse niitä! 5 syytä miksi kävin värianalyysissä Kävin itse värianalyysissä monestakin yksittäisestä syystä, mutta tässä postauksessa keskityn niistä viiteen ja kerron niistä sinulle pienimuotoisen tarinan keinoin. Ensimmäisenä, minulla ei ollut hyvä olo pukeutuessani vaatekaapistani löytyneisiin vaatteisiin. Toiseksi yritin korjata oloani meikkaamalla, mutta mikään ei tuntunut hyvältä. Kolmantena anoppini ohimennen jakama tieto värianalyysistä sai minut ajattelemaan kokemiani ongelmia ja aloin uskoa, että värianalyysi voisi olla ratkaisu niihin. Neljäntenä syynä oli se, että analysoin itseni internetin ihmeellisessä maailmassa syksyksi. Ja viimeisenä eli viidentenä syynä oli se, että päädyin ostamaan kesä värivuodenajan mukaisia vaatteita, luullen niitä syksyn värisiksi.😃 Kun olin tämän kaiken tehnyt, enkä ymmärtänyt miksi oloni oli edelleen huono uusissa vaatteissa, päädyin varaamaan ajan värianalyysiin. Minä ennen värianalyysiä Vaatekaappini ennen värianalyysiä Ennen värianalyysiä, minusta tuntui aina ettei minulla ole mitään päällepantavaa. Kutsu juhliin tai vaikka vain kylään kahville aiheutti minussa paniikin tunnetta. Minulla ei ollut hyvä olo vaatteissani. Vaatekaappini pursusi mustia vaatteita: paitoja, housuja, mekkoja yms. Pidin "väripilkkuina" muutamaa harmaata ja valkoista asustetta. Vaatekaapissani oli myös se ongelma, että ollessaan täynnä mustaa, en edes tahtonut löytää sieltä niitä muutamia "lemppari" mustia vaatteita. Pahinta oli reissussa, kun matkalaukun sisältö oli vain musta kasa kangasta. Kuvakaappaus Instagram kelastani, jossa havainnollistan vaatekaappiani ennen värianalyysiä Meikki ennen värianalyysiä En koskaan ole ollut niin sanotusti meikkien suurkuluttaja, mutta olen pitänyt meikkaamista varsinkin juhliin laittautuessa suuressa roolissa. Ennen värianalyysia meikkaaminen tuntui usein hankalalta ja harvoin sain meikistä omasta mielestäni tyydyttävää lopputulosta. Lainasin siskoltanikin meikkejä, esimerkiksi huulipunaa (jonka tiedän nyt olevan viileää sävyä) enkä ymmärtänyt miksi en hehkunut kuten hän. Meikkaukseni tulokset näyttivät kuin 5-vuotias olisi käynyt salaa äitinsä meikkipussilla. Näin jälkikäteen ymmärrän, että kun pukeuduin aina itselleni vääriin sävyihin ja vaikka meikit olisi olleet sitten lämpimät tai viileät, jokin oli kasvoillani aina vähän pielessä. En minä huonolta näyttänyt, mutta jokin siinä mätti Anoppi kertoi värianalyysistä Noin vuosi sitten anoppini tuli maininneeksi, että hänen päällä ollut paitansa pitäisi sopia hänelle erityisen hyvin. Paita oli väriltään ehkä violetti, mutta se ei ole oleellista, vaan se, että hän oli käynyt joskus kauan aikaa sitten värianalyysissä ja siellä oltiin kerrottu tämän värin olevan hänelle paras. Tämä jäi pyörimään mieleeni ja lopulta aloin etsimään tietoa tästä mystisestä värianalyysistä. Melko nopeasti minulle valkeni, että värianalyysi ei ole mikään menneen talven juttu ja siitä voisi oikeasti olla hyötyä itsellenikin. Netistä löytämäni tieto ja lupaukset värianalyysin höydyistä ja oman värivuodenajan selvittämisestä tuntuivat olevan ratkaisu kaikkiin ongelmiini. Minä ennen värianalyysiä Analysoin itseni syksyksi internetissä Koska olen luonteeltani kaikkien muiden ihanien piirteiden lisäksi harkitsevainen ja säästäväinen, en heti raaskinut mennä oikeaan värianalyysiin. Kun lähdin tutkimaan värianalyysiä internetissä, siitä löytyi paljon tietoa. Kaikkea sitä tietoa kahlatessani läpi, onnistuin jotenkin sivuuttamaan 4- ja 12-jaolliset värianalyysien luokittelut ja perehdyin vain 4-jaolliseen värianalyysiin. Taisin Tiktokista löytää myös jonkun värianalyysifiltterin. Lopputuloksena analysoin itseni internetin perusteella ja 4-jaollisen värianalyysin mukaan syksyksi. Näkemykseni syksyn vaatteista ennen värianalyysiä Ostin kesän vaatteita luullen niitä syksyksi Kun olin saanut analysoitua itseni syksyksi, oli aika lähteä päivittämään vaatekaappia muullakin kuin mustalla. Olen aina pitänyt vihreästä väristä, joten se sai minut ostamaan muutamia vihreitä vaatteita, esim. paitoja ja housuja. Lähitulevaisuudessa siinsi ystäväni valmistujaisjuhlat ja ajattelin, että sinne oikein repäisen ja ostan muun kuin mustan mekon. Lähdin vaatekaupoille useana päivänä täynnä intoa ja palasin aina kotiin musertuneena. En löytänyt mitään mikä olisi tuntunut tarpeeksi hyvältä. Eikä kysymys ollut tosiaan edes siitä miltä näytin, vaan siitä, miltä minusta tuntui. Päivien käydessä vähiin ennen juhlia, tuskaisena ja paniikissa, päädyin ostamaan uuden mekon. Se oli sekoitus valkoista ja vihreää. Lähipiirini kanssa iloitsimme, että olin viimein onnistunut löytämään kivan mekon, joka ei ollut musta! Kun ystäväni juhlapäivä koitti, tein juhlameikin ja puin uuden mekon päälle. Olo oli valju enkä ymmärtänyt missä oli vika. Olinhan päässyt eroon mustasta. Nautin kyllä päivästä ja juhlista, mutta oloni ei ollut niin hyvä kuin olisin kuvitellut sen olevan. Näin jälkikäteen olen ymmärtänyt, että käytännössä kaikki tuona aikana ostamani vaatteet olivat kesän viileitä, pehmeitä ja vaaleita vihreitä ja itse luulin niitä syksyn väreiksi. Ystävän juhliin lähdössä "syksyn" mekossa Oikeaan värianalyysiin Luulin ratkaisseeni ongelmani, mutta uudet vaatteet eivät lopulta tuntuneetkaan hyviltä, joten päätin, että minun on mentävä ammattilaisen tekemään värianalyysiin. Tähän vaikutti myös se, että olimme kesällä menossa mökille Itä-Suomeen. Tämä samainen anoppini, joka oli kertonut värianalyysistä, oli myös puhunut Outokummussa sijaitsevasta hieman hintavammasta vaatekaupasta, jossa olisi iso valikoima mekkoja. Kaikkien aikaisempien hutiostojen jälkeen, halusin sieltä itselleni edes yhden oikean värisen mekon. Päädyin valitsemaan sijainnin perusteella lähimmän löytämäni värianalyysin, joka sattui olemaan 4-jaollinen. Tuloksena oli suureksi yllätykseni kevät. Kaikki kokemani tuskailut vaatteiden ja meikkien kanssa saivat selityksen. Keväthän sieltä tuli Värianalyysin jälkeen Aluksi en oikein pitänyt kevät värivuodenajasta ja sen väreistä sekä sävyistä. Ne tuntuivat liian kirkkailta omaan makuun ja kuvailin niitä hieman negatiiviseen sävyyn "lasten väreiksi". Ostin kirppiksiltä vaatteita, jotta pääsin makustelemaan kevään kirkkaita, lämpimiä ja vaaleita värejä sekä sävyjä. Nämä olivat täysin vastakohtia niille, joita olin ennen käyttänyt. Muutaman ostoksen jälkeen (mm. kirkkaan vihreä 2 euron t-paita Liperin kirppikseltä), aloin hyväksyä tuloksen ja aloin nauttia uusista väreistä! Olin myös hoitovapaalla toisen lapseni myötä ja minulla oli aikaa miettiä mitä haluan tulevaisuudelta. Jo 4-jaollinen värianalyysi oli minulle niin käänteentekevä hetki elämässäni, että halusin tuoda sen saman fiiliksen muillekin. Niinpä päädyin hakeutumaan 12-jaolliseen värikonsultti-koulutukseen, jonka myötä sain itselleni kevään alakategoriaksi kirkkaan/kontrastisen kevään ja uuden ammatin. Miten ja miksi päädyin värianalyysistä värikonsultiksi oli monen tekijän ja sattumankin summa. Kun olin saanut 4-jaollisen värianalyysini tulokseksi kevään (tästä voit lukea lisää toisessa postauksessani "5 syytä miksi kävin värianalyysissä https://www.hehkumpi.fi/post/5-syyta-miksi-kavin-itse-varianalyysissa ", aloin melko pian sen jälkeen haaveilemaan värikonsultin urasta. Tämä haaveilu johti lopulta siihen, että minusta tuli sertifioitu värikonsultti! Värianalyysi auttoi minua Omasta värianalyysistäni jäi käteen tulos, johon uskoin (eli kevät) ja tuskailut värianalyysistä ostamani väripaletin kanssa, minkä käyttöön ei tullut kunnon opastusta. Tiesin, että oli olemassa erilainen väripaletti, joka kuvien perusteella näytti selkeämmältä ja paremmalta ja jonka olisin oikeasti halunnut. Tuloksen soveltaminen pukeutumisessa tuntui kuitenkin todella hyvältä. Tunne oikeissa väreissä olemisessa oli niin upea, että minulle tuli erittäin vahvasti ajatus siitä, että joka ikisen ihmisen tulisi tietää oma värivuodenaikansa. Oikea väri tekee ihmeitä mielelle! Värianalyysitilit alkoi ärsyttää somessa Oman värianalyysini jälkeen minua alkoi ärsyttää sosiaalisessa mediassa seuraamani värikonsultit. Minun oli vaikea sanoittaa tätä tunnetta, koska se oli jotain mitä en ollut oikeastaan kokenut ennen. Viimein tajusin, että tämä tunne oli kateus. Olin kateellinen värianalyysejä tekeville ihmisille, koska koin, että he tekevät työkseen jotain, mitä minä myöskin haluaisin tehdä. Halusin olla ammattilainen, joka saa auttaa muita ihmisiä ja opastaa heidät värimatkansa alkuun. Halusin levittää värien ilosanomaa ja kertoa kaikille, kuinka itsensä paremmin tunteminen voi johtaa lisääntyneeseen positiivisuuteen, parantuneeseen itsetuntoon ja suurempaan itsevarmuuteen. Kateus hävisi samalla sekunnilla, kun ilmoittauduin värikonsulttikoulutukseen. Paletit, kankaat ja muut koulutusmateriaalit tuli! Vitsailin kavereilleni analysoivani heidät Alunperin minun piti mennä värianalyysiin yhdessä kolmen ystäväni kanssa. Neljän ihmisen aikataulujen sovittaminen osoittautui kuitenkin mahdottomaksi, koska halusin itse mahdollisimman nopeasti värianalyysiin. Lopulta päädyin menemään analyysiin yksin. Kun haaveilin värikonsultin urasta, vitsailin näille kolmelle ystävälleni analysoivani heidät sitten kun olen värikonsultti. Tämä puoliksi vitsiksi tarkoitettu asia sai minut motivoitumaan entistä enemmän kouluttautumaan alalle. Ajattelin, että juuri minä haluan olla se, joka saa analysoida heidät. Ensimmäisiä treenejä testikankailla Päätös värikonsulttikoulutukseen lähtemisestä Värikonsulttikoulutukseen lähteminen oli yksi pelottavammista asioista, jonka olen koskaan tehnyt. Olin ollut jo yli vuoden äitiys- ja hoitovapaalla ja syksyllä oli lähenemässä aika, kun palaisin takaisin töihin ja mieheni jäisi kotiin lapsemme kanssa. Vakituinen palkkatyöni oli kohtuullisen hyväpalkkainen, mutta työ oli fyysisesti raskasta enkä tiennyt miten pystyisin suoriutumaan siitä raskauden jälkeen. Työmatkoihin olisi mennyt Tuusulaan muuttomme takia vähintään tunti päivässä ja ahdistuin valtavasti, kun ajattelin, että joutuisin olemaan vähintään yhdeksän tuntia pois perheemme luota viitenä päivänä viikossa. Olin myös koko elämäni haaveillut yrittäjyydestä, mutta en ikinä ollut uskonut sen olevan mahdollista itselleni. Hoitovapaalla ollessani olin ottanut kuitenkin muutamia hyvin varovaisia askelia yrittäjyyttä kohden. Kokeilin käsitöiden tekemistä, esimerkiksi virkattuja pupuja ja makrame-töitä sekä perustin muutaman sosiaalisen median tilin sillä ajatuksella, jos niistä olisi ollut mahdollisesti ammatiksi. Kaiken tämän johdosta päädyin irtisanoutumaan työstäni, perustin yritykseni Hehkumpi värianalyysi ja hakeuduin värikonsulttikoulutukseen. Ensimmäisiä treenejä testikankailla Värikonsulttikoulutuksen valinta Kun olin tehnyt päätöksen yrittäjäksi ja värikonsultiksi alkamisesta, oli aika ryhtyä sanoista tekoihin. Piti siis valita mihin värikonsulttikoulutukseen lähtisin. Olin omasta värianalyysistäni saanut ostaa erikseen väripaletin enkä ollut siihen tyytyväinen. Halusin, että omat asiakkaani saavat minulta erilaisen paletin ja sen perusteella rajasin tarjolla olevia koulutuksia. Minua myös hieman pelotti 12-jaollinen värianalyysi. Mietin onko se jotenkin liian sekavaa ja 4-jaollinen värianalyysi oli minullekin riittänyt mainiosti. Koulutuksen valintaan vaikutti myös tarjolla olevat aikataulut. Minulla oli muutama kuukausi aikaa ennen kuin olisi pitänyt palata takaisin vanhaan työhöni. Näiden seikkojen johdosta päädyin soittamaan yritykseen Matinestore ja siellä toiselle kouluttajalle Annelle. Soitto värikonsultti-kouluttajalle Annelle Kun lähdin soittamaan Matinestorelle ja Annelle, minua pelotti tulevaisuus ja olin todella epävarma onko minusta edes värikonsultiksi. Tiesin, että Matinestorella on mahdollista kouluttautua niin 4- kuin myös 12-jaollisen värianalyysin tekemiseen. Ajattelin, että haluan koulutuksen 4-jaollisen värianalyysin tekemiseen. 12-jaollinen värianalyysi tuntui sekavalta ja 4-jaollisesta oli ollut jo valtavasti hyötyä itselleni. Puhuin lopulta varmaan yli tunnin ihanan Annen https://www.instagram.com/beautyannesivonen/ kanssa. Hän kuunteli kärsivällisesti kaikki kysymykseni ja huolenaiheeni ja sai minut vakuuttuneeksi siitä, että minä kyllä pystyn siihen! Hän myös sanoi, että kouluttaudu suoraan 12-jaollisen värianalyysin tekijäksi. Olen jälkiviisaana todella kiitollinen, ettei minulla ole nelijakoisen värianalyysin taakkaa harteillani. Pystyn suoraan ajattelemaan moniulotteisesti 12-jaollisen värianalyysin mukaan, missä huomioidaan vahvasti myös ihon kirkkaus sekä pehmeys kaiken muun lisäksi. Minä tulevan kouluttajani Annen kanssa puhutun puhelun jälkeen Värikonsulttikoulutus Puhelun jälkeen maksoin koulutusmaksun ja aloitin Matinestoren Color me by Matine -värikonsulttikoulutuksen. Se sisälsi verkosta löytyvän oppimateriaalin, muutaman etänä pidetyn teoriatunnin ja lopulta lähiopetuspäivän kouluttajani Annen kanssa. Tämän jälkeen piti tehdä vielä 20 harjoitusasiakasta, joiden tulokset Anne varmisti. Lähiopetuspäivänä sain analysoida kolme valitsemaani henkilöä Annen opastuksella ja valvovan silmän alla. Tein värianalyysit siskolleni, mieheni siskolle sekä ensimmäisen lapseni kummitädille. Päivä oli pitkä ja raskas, mutta todella opettavainen. Tuloksina sain kolme täysin erilaista värivuodenaikaa: tumma syksy, lämmin kevät ja viileä kesä. Tämä oli aivan uskomaton onnenpotku! Näin heti kolme täysin erilaista värivuodenaikaa. Koenkin saaneeni tästä vähän lisävauhtia ja itseluottamusta värikonsultin uralleni. Tuli kunnolla valoillekin käyttöä, kun ilta jo pimeni Harjoitusasiakkaat Lähiopetuspäivän jälkeen vuorossa oli harjoitusasiakkaiden analysoiminen. Ilman kouluttajani Annen läsnäoloa ja turvaa, oli todella pelottavaa lähteä tekemään itse analyysejä. Tein ensin ystäväni, joiden kanssa oli pitänyt mennä värianalyysiin ja jotka olin sittemmin uhonnut analysoivani itse. Näiden ystävieni värianalyyseistä sain niin paljon itseluottamusta, että rohkaistuin mainostamaan harjoitusaikoja tuntemattomillekin asiakkaille. Avasin varauskalenterin ja mainostin aikoja Instagramissa uudella yritystililläni https://www.instagram.com/hehkumpi/ ja asiakkaita alkoi tulemaan. Keskityn joskus niin kovasti, että näytän vihaiselta😃 Tähän sisältyi alkuhaasteita, kun unohdin mainita hinnan tai vaikkapa sijainnin. Välillä unohdin mainita koko palvelun mitä myyn, eli värianalyysin. Siinä kompuroidessa opin ja kehityin myös sosiaalisen median käytössä ja markkinoinnissa. Aloitettuani Instagramin yritystilini, minulle ei pystynyt laittamaan viestiä ensimmäisten viikkojen aikana ollenkaan, kun jotkin asetukset eivät olleet oikein! Ajattelin, että ehkä ketään ei vain kiinnosta, mutta jatkoin silti ja koitin vain kasvattaa niin sanotusti vahvempaa some-nahkaa. Onneksi yksi ensimmäisistä asiakkaistani kertoi, ettei minulle voinut laittaa viestiä ja sain asian korjattua. Jossain vaiheessa, ehkä 16. harjoitusasiakkaan kohdalla, kouluttajani Anne kysyi minulta, onko minulla ollut muitakin asiakkaita kuin tuttuja. Vastasin, että melkein kaikki ovat olleet tuntemattomia ja että se on ollut täysin tietoinen valinta, jotta pääsisin pois mukavuusalueelta ja todella haastamaan itseäni. Viimeisenä harjoitusasiakkaani analysoin mieheni. Tiesin jo, että hän on kirkas kevät itseni lailla, mutta virallista analyysia en ollut hänelle tehnyt. Kun hänen tuloksensa oli varmistettu Annen toimesta, olin sertifioitu värikonsultti! Viimeinen harjoitusasiakas Värikonsulttikoulutuksen jälkeen Kun olin valmistunut, kouluttajani Anne kertoi, että olin valmistunut ennätysajassa. 20 harjoitusasiakkaan tekemiseen meni vain pari viikkoa. Näistä vielä noin 15 oli minulle täysin tuntemattomia ihmisiä. Minusta tuntui taivaalliselta! Olin ylittänyt itseni ja saavuttanut tavoitteeni. Nyt minulla oli uusi ammatti ja taito auttaa muita ihmisiä tuntemaan itsensä hieman paremmin. Sertifioitu värikonsultti Koulutuksen jälkeen hoitovapaani oli ohi. Olin saanut olla kotona lapsemme kanssa melkein 1,5 vuotta ja nyt oli mieheni vuoro. Lähdimme Espanjaan viettämään muutaman viikon "lomaa" eli suunnittelemaan tulevaa ja kuvaamaan materiaalia Instagramiin. Tullessamme takaisin Suomeen, olin suunnattoman peloissani. Perheemme talous tulisi olemaan käytännössä minun varassani. Harjoitusasiakkaita oli ollut helppo saada, koska hinta 119 euroa oli oikeasti todella, todella halpa hinta värianalyysistä ja oikea hinta värianalyysi-palvelulleni tulisi olemaan 219 euroa. Pelkäsin, että tuleekohan niitä asiakkaita enää. Onneksi asiakkaita alkoi tulla ja joka kuukausi on ollut hieman parempi kuin edellinen. Ennen yrityksen perustamista oli tiedossa, että kustannukset ovat alussa suuremmat kuin tulot. Olen kuitenkin tehnyt jo muutaman kuukauden positiivista tulosta ja se luo uskoa, että pystyn jatkossakin työllistämään itse itseni. Taloudellinen pärjääminen aiheuttaa painetta, mutta rakastan työtäni ja olen vielä kaiken lisäksi älyttömän hyvä siinä! Se on aivan ihanaa, kun saan auttaa toisia ihmisiä. Asiakkaideni palautteista päätellen, värianalyysistäni on todellakin hyötyä eikä se ole vain tulos ja ulos. Vanha työni ei tuntunut enää joltain, mihin olisin halunnut palata. Soitin kouluttajalleni Annelle ja lähdin kouluttautumaan värikonsultiksi ja 12-jaollisen värianalyysin tekijäksi. Sain ennätysajassa koulutukseni valmiiksi ja nyt olen ollut reilut viisi kuukautta sertifioitu värikonsultti ja onnellisempi kuin koskaan! Onnellisuus näkyy myös peilistä Kiitos, että luit matkastani värianalyysistä värikonsultiksi ja miten kohdallani värianalyysi muutti lopulta myös ammattini. Kaikkien kohdalla värianalyysi ei tietenkään voi vaikuttaa yhtä dramaattisesti, mutta minua kiinnostaisi tietää, onko sinun elämäsi muuttunut värianalyysin myötä? Useimmat asiakkaani tulevat värianalyysiin yksin. Silloin kokemus on aina hyvin henkilökohtainen ja joskus voisi sanoa jopa terapeuttinenkin. Minun värianalyysiini voit myös tulla kahdestaan esimerkiksi puolison tai sukulaisesi kanssa ja kolmen/neljän hengen porukassa vaikka ystävien kesken. Kahdestaan tai isommallakin porukalla voi toki olla hyvinkin syvällisiä ja koskettaviakin värianalyysikokemuksia, mutta henkilökohtaisuus vähenee väkisinkin hitusen, kun keskityn yhden sijasta useampaan asiakkaaseen. Tässä blogikirjoituksessa avaan mitä ajatuksia kahden hengen värianalyysit ystävien kesken ovat minussa herättäneet. Värianalyysi ystävän kanssa Kun tulet värianalyysiin esimerkiksi ystävän kanssa, kokemus voi olla hyvin erilainen kuin henkilökohtaisessa värianalyysissä. Siinä pääset vuorovaikutukseen niin minun kuin myös ystäväsi kanssa ja näet kankaiden vaikutukset molempien kasvoilla. Kävin tekemässä värianalyysit ystävyksille heidän luonaan Helsingissä Kun istut peilin eteen meikittömänä, hiukset peitettynä ja kaikki valot kohdistettuna vain sinuun, voi olo olla haavoittuvainen tai jännittynyt. Ainakin se on hyvin erilainen tilanne, missä olet ikinä ollut. Minä värikonsulttina tuijotan hyvin tarkasti kasvojasi peilin kautta. Ystävä istuu vieressä katsoen sinuun innoissaan. Me kaikki kolme näemme saman, mutta siinä ensimmäisten sekuntien jännityksessä saatamme kokea tilanteen täysin erilaisena. Sinä näet ehkä peilistä juonteesi tai ihosi epäpuhtaudet. Minä, takanasi seisoen, näen vain puhtaat upeat kasvosi. Innostunut jännitys valtaa kehoni; ihan pian pääsemme näkemään sinun puhtaan luonnollisen kauneutesi ja sen upeuden miten tulet esiin oikeilla väreillä! En malta odottaa! Näen miten ystäväsi katsoo sinua lempeydellä ja ylpeydellä. Näen kuinka hän hymyilee sinulle rohkaisuna. Se on jotain niin kaunista, että herkistyn tätä kirjoittaessanikin. Jos vain näkisimme itsemme aina rakkaimpiemme silmin, niin emme ikinä ajattelisi itsestämme mitään pahaa. Kun värianalyysi etenee, niin silloin viimeistään rentoudumme kaikki. Pintaan nousee naurua, innostusta ja oivalluksia. Joskus voi tulla muistoja menneistä: "Muistatko kun vanhojen tansseissa sinulla oli juuri tuon värinen mekko ja mietimme miten upea olitkaan siinä". Tai joskus tuli räjähtävää naurua, kun muisteltiin jotain festaria ja kuinka tuntemattomalta lainatussa hupparissa toinen näytti sairaalta.. mutta nyt paljastuikin, että se oli se väri, joka teki sen! Näihin elämän mittaisiin tarinoihin saan pienen maistiaisen ja olen siitä uskomattoman kiitollinen. Lopulta kun pääsemme parhaisiin väreihin, niin alkaa iloinen ja vieläkin innostuneempi puheen sorina esimerkiksi siitä, kuinka upea ystävä olisikaan tulevana kesänä juhlissa tässä tai tuossa värissä. Asiakkaiden ystävyys saa minut herkistymään Kahden hengen värianalyyseissä etsin ensin molemmille tuloksen, jonka jälkeen käydään yhteisesti läpi väripaletin opastus. Sitä voisi ajatella, että kumpi pääsee penkkiin toisena, joutuisi olemaan malttavaisempi. Itse koen sen niin, että penkkiin ensimmäisenä istuva joutuu olemaan maltillisempi, koska kun hän saa oman väripaletin käteensä, niin aloitammekin jo ystävän analyysin. Tähän asti jokainen on hienosti laittanut omat värinsä sivuun; värit joita on odottanut pitkään, ehkä jopa vuosikymmeniä! He keskittyvät ystävän värianalyysiin tyhjentäen mielen hetkeksi omista väreistään. Tämä on värikonsulttina ja sivustakatsojana hyvin herkistyttävää. Se miten asiakkaani kohtelevat ystäviään on niin kaunista ja kunnioittavaa. Siinä hetkessä olen ammattimainen värikonsultti, mutta illalla värianalyysiä ajatellessani tai sähköpostia heille kirjoittaessani, en välty kyyneliltä. Ihmisten hyvyys toisiaan kohtaan on asia, mikä herkistää minua useimmiten eniten. Joskus käy niin, että oma tulos onkin pettymys tai järkytys. Näissä tilanteissa ystävän tuki on uskomaton. Ehkä jo tiesitkin, tai nyt viimeistään ymmärrät, ettei värianalyysini ole vain tuloksena saatu vuodenaika vaan se on kokonaisvaltainen kokemus ja elämys. Joskus hyvinkin henkilökohtainen ja vuosia matkassa ollut taakka tai ilo. Asiakkaani saavat vastauksia ja selityksiä. Toisinaan sukelletaan syvälle ja toisinaan ei niinkään, mutta joka tapauksessa värit herättävät tunteita. Onneksi mitään värejä ei oteta sinulta pois, vaan niitä tuodaan lisää. Pikainen vilkaisu omiin väreihin ennen kuin keskitytään ystävän värianalyysiin Tämä kirjoitus pätee monilta osin myös esimerkiksi siskosten värianalyyseihin tai vaikka äiti-tytär parivaljakoihin.
