My interest in Linengirls linen dresses began over two years ago, even before I had a color analysis done.

The first "Hehkumpi Värianalyysi x Linengirls" linen pop-up event will be held at the Hehkumpi color analysis studio in Tuusula on February 5th. The aim of this pop-up day is to offer up to 16 linen dress enthusiasts a completely individual and personal assessment of their best Linengirls colors.

If you already know your color season, you can book a 20-minute personal color consultation—focused on linen dress colors—at the Hehkumpi studio in Tuusula on February 5th for €35. You will discover your best matches from the full range of 74 different Linengirls colors.

If you do not know your color season, you can still book an appointment to view the colors and receive an expert opinion from the color consultant, though recommending specific, definitive colors may be slightly more challenging.

You can also book a 20-minute remote consultation for €30.

8.2. Hehkumpi x Linengirls linen Pop-up in Kerava

The second linen pop-up event is free and open to everyone. It will be held on February 8th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the stunning mirrored studio at Fysiostudio, located next to the Savio train station at Koivikontie 10, 04620 Kerava.

There is also plenty of parking available if you are arriving by car.

On February 8th, you can view and feel all 74 fabric colors from the Linengirls 2026 collection—completely free of charge. You will also have the opportunity to discuss the fabrics with Maria, a color consultant from Hehkumpi Värianalyysi.

Do come along, even if you don’t know your color season. You can still try out the lovely linen colors in front of the mirror and get some great tips on choosing the right shades!

• Book your appointment for the Tuusula pop-up (on Feb 5th) well in advance, as spots can fill up quickly. Also, arrive without makeup—or with only light makeup—so the effect of the colors is clearly visible.

The remote consultation has already proven to be a very popular service; it involves a 20-minute WhatsApp video call. We start by sorting the colors into "keep" and "discard" piles. I will give you my opinion on the best colors based on that initial sorting, our conversation, and your features, and afterwards, I’ll send you photos of the best color choices.

You don’t need to have had a color analysis with me previously, but having a color palette of the type commonly used in Finland (the same one I use) can help with comparing colors. It’s not mandatory, though—we can certainly manage without one!

Why is it important to use color analysis when choosing the right linen colors

Linengirls linen colors and color analysis

Linengirls’ 74 different colors can be categorized in various ways based on different color analysis methods. At their simplest, they can be grouped into four categories: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. When making any such classification, it is useful to consider color characteristics using three metrics: temperature (warm–neutral–cool), clarity (clear vs. soft), and value (light vs. dark/depth).

In this blog, I primarily categorize the colors and shades based on the 12-season color analysis system; however, since individual uniqueness must be taken into account when choosing colors, the practical categorization ends up being somewhat different. Matters are rarely clear-cut—for instance, the color analysis system I use recognizes far more than just 12 seasonal types.

For example, five people who all receive a "Warm Spring" result can look very different from one another. The depth of their features (skin, hair, eyebrows, and eyes) can vary significantly, meaning the absolute best colors from the Warm Spring palette—and the linen color range—will differ for each of them.

The categorization in this blog post is quite loose; I wanted to stretch the boundaries of the standard color analysis perspective and offer as many options as possible for each season, because I want as many people as possible to find a color (or several!) that they truly love.

I also explain which colors are typically particularly well-suited to each color analysis season. This means that if you are absolutely certain of your season, you can confidently choose a stunning shade from the recommended palette without even seeing it in person.

Accurately and thoroughly determining the best shade—or shades—requires considering hair and eye color (and depth) alongside the key elements: skin undertone and surface tone.

With the help of color analysis and a color consultant, you gain confidence in your choice of clothing and colors, ensuring that a high-quality linen garment doesn't just gather dust in your wardrobe.

The colors of Light Spring are:

• neutral-warm

• light to medium in depth

• leaning slightly towards brightness

Blueberry and Flamingo pink are gorgeous colors for most light springs.

Warm spring

Warm Spring is:

• A thoroughly warm color season

• Medium-light in depth, though medium depth often works best

• Purely clear

Spring Green and Coral are really good for all warm springs.

Bright spring

Best colors for bright spring.

Clear Spring is:

• Primarily clear

• Neutral-warm in temperature

• Medium-dark in depth (works best)

Kelly Green is a really intense, bright color (the photo doesn't quite capture it accurately), and Papaya Orange is especially flattering for a tanned "Bright Spring" complexion. I have a neutral-warm skin tone myself; while orange isn't exactly my best color in winter when I’m paler, it looks stunning in the summer! In winter, I fake a tan using L'Oréal self-tanner.

Cool, light, and softly hazy colors work best for the Light Summer palette.

Here are two colors that have looked stunning on every "Light Summer" type. However, the overall look is what ultimately matters. For instance, if the hair has been dyed a dark or warm shade, cool, light colors will clash with the look.

Some Soft Summers are distinctly darker, while others are lighter. The skin's undertone is neutral-cool, and this is reflected in the color palette as well. Softness is the most important characteristic.

The Winter palette is fundamentally cool, clear, and deep. There are fewer good options for Winters, but they certainly do exist!

Bright winter

True Winter is, true to its name, a very bright seasonal color palette. It is often cool or neutral-cool in temperature, and medium-to-dark colors generally work best.

Electric Blue is a sure and fresh choice for any Bright Winter! Fuchsia is a particularly good option if your skin’s surface tone is also a very cool pink.

Cool Winter is a truly intense, high-contrast, and cool, icy seasonal color palette.

Deep winter

Dark Winter is often a very neutral color season in terms of temperature and the brightness-softness axis. The darkness or depth of the colors is the most important characteristic.
